Mykia debuts a new 3-part series, The Parlour, live at Three Keys, April 11th!

Dopeciety presents a new 3-part series featuring artist Mykia Jovan.

Part 1: Birth/ReBirth

Through this show Mykia will explore and expand on her original work, sharing personal stories through song each month.

Parlours are rooms where life and death are celebrated and honored. Rooms where engagements are announced, wakes are held, musical recitals performed. A place for family and friends to gather alike, to honor life’s most significant moments. They are sacred spaces.

Mykia recently said, “my strength comes from my ancestors." The Parlour will serve as a space to honor those who have come before her and continue to guide her spirit.
